Product Overview

Strip and clean discs are industrial abrasive tools for efficient removal of coatings, rust and contaminants. Silicon carbide abrasive is bonded to a nylon-fiber mesh with high-strength resin, forming a flexible, open honeycomb structure.

The structure provides self-sharpening and loading resistance, stripping coatings aggressively while following irregular surfaces and protecting the substrate. Common sizes are 100 mm (4″) and 125 mm (5″), compatible with common angle grinders.

Selection Guide

Check that the outside diameter (100-125 mm) and bore (16 or 22.23 mm) match the angle grinder.

Choose the color grade for the application:

Black: economical choice for light cleaning, old paint and light rust

Blue: cost-effective choice for moderate rust and oxide removal

Purple: heavy-duty removal of thick rust and weld slag

Orange ceramic: maximum service life and cutting efficiency under the most demanding conditions

Check that the disc's maximum rated speed is at least equal to the angle grinder speed.

Safe Use Instructions

Ensure the product's maximum rated speed is at least equal to the angle grinder speed and mount it correctly.

Wear personal protective equipment, including protective goggles, a face shield, earplugs and a dust mask.

Apply even, moderate pressure. Excessive force can damage the disc or workpiece.

Do not remove the angle grinder guard.

Inspect the disc regularly and replace it if cracked or severely worn.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture.

Avoid direct sunlight to prevent resin aging.

Store flat and avoid heavy pressure that could cause deformation.
