Product Overview
Calcined alumina flap discs combine grinding and polishing in a high-performance coated abrasive tool. Specially calcined abrasive cloth flaps are evenly arranged in a fan pattern and bonded to a backing plate for use on angle grinders.
Calcining increases abrasive hardness and thermal stability, keeping the grains sharp during high-speed grinding. The disc combines the stock-removal capability of a grinding wheel with the finish of a polishing wheel, reducing processing steps and costs.

Selection Guide
Check that the outside diameter (100-180 mm) and bore (16 or 22.23 mm) match the angle grinder.
Choose grit size for the application:
Coarse grinding (36#-60#): heavy stock removal, initial weld grinding and casting cleaning
