Product Overview
Ceramic alumina flap discs are professional coated abrasives for demanding industrial grinding. Their ceramic alumina abrasive is produced through a specialized process and offers distinctive self-sharpening properties.
As grains dull during grinding, controlled microfracture exposes fresh cutting edges and maintains cutting efficiency. This gives ceramic alumina flap discs much higher grinding efficiency and longer life than conventional abrasives on difficult materials such as stainless and high-alloy steels.
Diameters range from 100 mm (4″) to 180 mm (7″), fitting common angle grinders.

Check that the outside diameter (100-180 mm) and bore (16 or 22.23 mm) match the angle grinder.
Choose grit size for the application:
Coarse grinding (40#-60#): heavy stock removal, initial weld grinding and rapid cutting
Intermediate grinding (80#): general grinding and surface finishing
Fine grinding (120# and finer): fine polishing and surface finishing
Choose the disc type:
T27 (flat): suitable for flat-surface grinding
T29 (conical): suitable for welds, edges, bevels and contoured surfaces, with an effective cutting angle

Safe Use Instructions
Ensure the product's maximum rated speed is at least equal to the angle grinder speed and mount it correctly.
Wear personal protective equipment, including protective goggles, a face shield, earplugs and a dust mask.
Do not remove the angle grinder guard.
Check for cracks or missing flaps before use. Do not use a damaged flap disc.
Apply even, moderate pressure. Excessive force can damage the disc or workpiece.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture.
Avoid direct sunlight to prevent adhesive aging.
Store flat and avoid heavy pressure that could cause deformation.
