Product Overview
Garnet blasting abrasive is a natural mineral abrasive made from almandine ore by crushing, magnetic separation and washing. It is deep red or reddish brown, with angular polyhedral grains, a Mohs hardness of 6.5-8.0, a true density of 3.8-4.3 g/cm³, stable chemistry and a melting point of approximately 1300℃. It contains no free silica, with total SiO₂ of 34%-43% and Al₂O₃ of 17%-28%, and provides an environmentally friendly blasting medium.
