About this product
Product Overview
Fused zirconia alumina is a eutectic material made by arc fusion of alumina and zirconia above 2000℃. The main phase is α-Al₂O₃ and the secondary phase is baddeleyite. Principal grades are ZA25, with approximately 25% ZrO₂, and ZA40, with approximately 40% ZrO₂. High toughness, strength and self-sharpening make it a premium abrasive for high-performance bonded and coated tools and an important refractory raw material.
