About this product
Product Overview
Brown fused alumina micropowder is made from quality bauxite, coke or anthracite, and iron filings fused above 2000℃ in an electric arc furnace, followed by crushing, magnetic separation, acid washing and classification. Its main crystalline phase is α-Al₂O₃, with approximately 92%-95% alumina. The brown, angular particles feature large crystals, high strength and toughness, a dense structure and high bulk density. Narrow particle-size distribution and well-formed grains provide efficient grinding and bright polishing of metals, glass and semiconductor materials.

Safe Use Instructions
Wear a dust mask, protective goggles, abrasion-resistant gloves and work clothing to avoid inhaling fine dust.
Provide effective workshop ventilation and dust extraction and keep it running throughout operation.
Handle material gently to minimize airborne dust at its source.
Clean workshop floors regularly and wet-mop them to prevent slipping.
Maintain equipment regularly, inspect it before each shift and remove residual powder after use.
Storage
Store in a dry, ventilated, moisture-protected warehouse to prevent caking.
Stack products neatly by category, control stacking height and keep fire access routes clear.
Micropowders are sensitive to humidity. Protect containers against moisture during export shipping and use desiccants if necessary.
Do not store together with corrosive substances such as acids and alkalis.
