About this product
Product Overview
Brown fused alumina is a synthetic corundum made from quality bauxite, anthracite and iron filings by arc fusion above 2000℃. Its main crystalline phase is α-Al₂O₃ in the trigonal system. It is dark brown and becomes deep blue after calcining. High purity, good crystallinity, hardness and refractoriness make it suitable as aggregate and filler for premium refractories.
Available as sized aggregates of 0-1, 1-3, 3-5 and 5-8 mm, and fine powder of 200#-0. Other specifications can be customized.
